The forecasted rain never came so instead I arrived at St Faith's blinded by the sun on my cycle over. It was perfect weather for some sortin! Andrea showed me the way to the bags of items which GoodGymmer Sam Lefevre had looked over in the morning and earmarked for sorting for the distribution event for rough sleepers. Miranda and Andrea were super helpful answering my questions on any items I wasn't sure about, and I managed to finish with a little time to spare. Jumpers and shoes won volume-wise, with a very good stash of t-shirts coming in third. I also had bags for coats, trousers, shorts, hats, gloves and scarves, belts and socks! It was lovely to meet the GROAD team, who were working hard next door, putting out a huge amount of clothes and things for the Open House event for the next day.

Well done Emily for sorting out the bags into categories and my pleasure for getting it all out of the sheds as this does take awhile and emailing you the instructions... hopefully you can join another GROAD session soon!
