Sunday 15th September

Clothes, soft toys, kitchen utensils, etc. I put everything in order, hung the clothes on hangers, received the things that arrived today, put them in boxes and bags.

Since there were a lot of clothes, there were not enough hangers, so I neatly put the rest in a bag.
Sunday 30th June

Sabera, Louisa and Andrada attended the GROAD activity for the first time today. We successfully unpacked and displayed all the donations mostly clothes for all ages, toys and bedding, completing the task ahead of time 💪. Additionally, we were joined by some volunteers from the church 😀.
Sunday 26th May

The forecasted rain never came so instead I arrived at St Faith's blinded by the sun on my cycle over. It was perfect weather for some sortin! Andrea showed me the way to the bags of items which GoodGymmer Sam Lefevre had looked over in the morning and earmarked for sorting for the distribution event for rough sleepers. Miranda and Andrea were super helpful answering my questions on any items I wasn't sure about, and I managed to finish with a little time to spare. Jumpers and shoes won volume-wise, with a very good stash of t-shirts coming in third. I also had bags for coats, trousers, shorts, hats, gloves and scarves, belts and socks! It was lovely to meet the GROAD team, who were working hard next door, putting out a huge amount of clothes and things for the Open House event for the next day.
