Tonight we were joined by Harvey from Ealing GoodGym and he had a picked a wheelie good task. To get us geared up for our group run Rachel led the warm up and then we took the brakes off and ran to the shop.

Gary from Full Cycle ran through our tasks and made sure we were awake popping an inner tube in the air gun demo.

We free wheeled our way through the tasks at speed with Dave and Harvey pumping up inner tubes to check for leaks, Jule and Jade cleaning up bikes ready for new owners and Claire, Rachel and Emily removing valves and rolling up inner tubes.

We didn’t tyre and finished the session by all cleaning bikes and removing some very rusty bike accessories.

Tonight we were also joined by Camilla from Kingston Voluntary Action. Rachel was our spokesperson and gave an interview about the benefits of GoodGym.

We will be back in the saddle next month for an exciting new project with Full Cycle involving some children’s bikes.

Help wash donated bikes to be given to local charities

Full Cycle's friendly team believe in the brilliance of the bicycle, and are as passionate about recycling as cycling. Our mission is to refurbish and rehome unwanted bikes, minimising waste, promoting active travel and giving people from all backgrounds access to affordable cycling. To achieve this, we work with local grassroots causes to inspire and support more people into cycling, with a big focus on helping old bikes find new homes with local residents most in need.
