You've never had it hoe good
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Canal and River Trust in Birmingham.

3 GoodGymers joined Beth from the Canal and River Trust to undertake some weeding and litter picking on our adopted stretch of canal.
Amy was already diligently undertaking a litter pick when I met her on the way to the mission and she had impressively filled up a bin liner full by the time we met Beth at the start point.
We started with a litter pick before later weeding along the canal towpath. Sofeen was an expert with the hoe, which formed the basis of the title, and he also fashionably pulled off the life jacket he was given when he was entrusted with the tasks by the water's edge.
Amy and Beth used secateurs to get rid of weeds on the bank and I undertook a mix of sweeping and used the hoe.
It was a good few hours spent in which we were able to make a noticeable difference and we look forward to heading back to the canal stretch soon.
