Wrapping up 2020
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Slough Outreach in Slough.
- Tuesday, 15th of December 2020
- Led by Manjit Birk
Today, 6 of us, went back to Langley College to finish off the remaining 50 hampers Slough Outreach needed for the families/residents they serve.
Its great to be involved in little projects like this. Makes 2020 feel a whole lot better when we have the Christmas spirit and cheer amongst us.
Great to have Shelley join us on her first community mission with us (hopefully see you at a lot more in the near future).
Sara, Pam, Shelley and Roisin busily wrapped the hamper boxes (with great perfection) whilst Sut and I filled them with the food items and finished them off with cellophane covers.
In 2 hours we have completed 50 boxes from today's task adding to the 50 we did last Thursday.
Just as we were ready to go ho ho ho-me, Shin pulls up with 100 shoes boxes to be offloaded from the car. Never do we say never...so to complete the day we helped shift them!
