The weather looked ominous at times, the forecast said it was going to rain but about 100 people attended Fratton Big Local's Jubilee community picnic. Music was supplied by The City of Portsmouth City Band. Children were entertained by two pirates, Aargh! You could make a crown, buy some plants and goods. There was also the opportunity to get your face painted. Bumped into some old friends who were also helping and persuaded them to come back to Goodgym. The picnic ended earlier than anticipated but all those that had attended left happy.
