Why did the GoodGymer cross the playground? To get to the other slide.

Homerton Grove Adventure Playground is a fantastic play area, which in normal times can accommodate up to 100 young people. Our initial job this week was to shovel a huge pile of woodchip into wheelbarrows and spread it below a zipwire.
First task accomplished, we turned to woodchipping the area under a swing, where kids will also slide down the climbing frame. At this stage, we were assisted by two playground users: a quiet but strong father, and his young son. Even also woodchipped a third area.
GoodGym is also of course about exercise, so Emma and Kim took a turn on the high swing, while Even organised a post-task walk, which happened to lead to the Elderfield pub. So we took refreshment there, discovering we all like Arlo Parks, until Emma had to hurry home to feed her favourite cat.
