Whipped into shape
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside, Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers, and Wildlife Trust BCN in Luton.

In the early morning the rain I decided that wellies were the footwear for today's task, and for that reason I had to swap the customary run to the task with a bus ride and a brisk walk. But never fear, if Sam from Luton Borough Parks is out on a Monday morning then the sun seems to follow, hence blue skies and a strong breeze. We had a barrowload of crabapple whips to plant into thick meadow turf, and each was planted, hand weeded and mulched by the task finish time of 1pm. Many hands . . . .
