We've got concrete plans for this garage
12 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Hammersmith and Fulham.

After an impressive pre-warm up replay of last week's pub chat, Sarah's Yoga-Piston squats set the standard for strength and flexibility - we're all intimidated and wishing we'd spent more time in yoga elongating our hamstrings!
After a rather less daunting warm-up we headed off for a 3km run to The Loop, White City - a wonderful furniture restoring and recycling company. Once there, James - the charity Lead - showed us the garage that they have recently acquired and are looking to turn into a workshop for the charity. We quickly got to work emptying the garage of junk and a LOT of heavy concrete slabs (we definitely got an upper body work-out this week!). After a lot of sweeping, sweeping and some more sweeping, we left, happy in the knowledge of a great mission started.....we are back next week to finish the job and paint the garage.
After a speedy 3km run back to base and a good warm-down - caring for those calves and achilles in this cold weather, a number of us headed to Brook Green for a GoodGym celebration of fireworks night, some nice sparkler shots and a warming drink in the pub!
Looking forward to next week! Anna
