We tore it up!
Last night a strong group of ten ran from Wilsden Sports Centre to the 3rd Wembley Scout group.
We set off at 7pm on the dot for a long run (7miles in total) the way there seemed fairly long as we followed the gps on my phone. We got to the 3rd Wembly Scout group for 20 to 8 in the evening.
I must say we we're all very happy to be there and the task was definitely a great one.
We cleared a door way from weeds, trees, a giant canoe rack and some scrap metal.
Armed with shovels, gloves, saws and a trusty sledge hammer we made light work of our task and Jay our host for the evening was very pleased with our efforts.
We finished the task ahead of schedule and much to Jays kindness we had a refreshing class of OJ before making our way back to Wilsden Sports Centre.
The way back seemed a lot shorter for everybody even though a lot of the journey was up hill our group powered up the hills with hearty efforts.
A big big thank you to all who showed up last night.
Great work
