We restored while Harry Kane scored
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Monday, 18th of June 2018
While most were found in a pub for the first England match in the football World Cup, Jessie and Helen had a short jog to Ms M to transform her back garden.
With updates of the score from Ms M, we had a job at hand and quickly got to it. We cut and chop away at the rather overgrown bushes and weeded to transform the garden in the hope that the sun will be shining in the coming weeks.
The cheers of delight from the surrounding houses as well as Ms M spurred us on, sometimes from a World Cup goal and other times from the excitement from the progress of her garden, now seeing her garden gate and sit in her patio chair.
8 bags later of prickly foliage, a couple of snails carefully moved and a football found in the hedgerow we packed up our things ready and prepping to s’nail it for a big week ahead! 😁
