It should have been the weekend we were in Tesco, promoting the foodbank and reminding shoppers of the items that the foodbank needs. Sadly, lockdown prevented this so we came up with a plan B!
Vicki did a collection at work and, along with her & John's own donations collected 4 bags full of goodies. She walked 2 bags round to the local foodbank. John took his when the food bank was in full swing. He was gone longer than expected but turned out he helped a guy walk back to his home - the guy was on crutches & struggling to carry bags of heavy tins he'd collected. Double good deed points for John!
Sam and John B both donated to the foodbank separately. So a double good deed from their household too!
Mel went early and was the first GoodGymer to tell me she'd donated early last week. Lily was at the opposite end of the time span and went on Sunday afternoon, she had to go to 2 different places as there is no donation point in Albert Road Co-op!
Sarah downloaded the foodbank app and found out what her local foodbank needed, she ended up buying different things to what she'd planned. Lynn went to Morrisons and used their drop off for her donations.
Andi used her first day of freedom after a week indoors with her children to take her donations round to her nearest foodbank.
I went to Tesco Fratton and was glad to see that there was still a display promoting donations to the foodbank including some ready made Christmas packages you coils buy and donate. Catherine went one better by buying the package AND taking a picture with it!
Brilliant efforts by everyone, as always!

Well done everyone! Doing my donation late (couldn't get there this weekend)
So great how everyone found different ways to do this. You can't keep a Goodgymer (locked)down!!
