8 Goodgym Yorkies made their usual monthly trip to catch up with the residents of Hartrigg Oaks
Jenny, one of the regulars to our visits, told us that Goodgym always brings the sunshine as we've not had a bad night yet. So we made the most of the pleasant evening and set off for a stroll around the grounds. On this occasion we were joined by newcomers Beryl, Kay, another Beryl and Audrey.
I think some Goodgymers were yet to have their dinner as topics of conversation included Scones, fish and chips, apple pie, and Cornish pasties. There was also talk of heading to the Oaks for breakfast after New Earswick Parkrun. Although i think Leanne's suggestion of the residents volunteering at parkrun in return might have been a step too far
After a cup of tea and a study of the menu (for future reference) the residents slowly started to make their way to bed. Apart from Roy who couldn't wait to get back to his room to watch the football!
