Vaccine volunteering
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the South East Oxford Health Alliance in Oxford.

Fuelled by tea and pizza, three Goodgymers spent a golden spring Saturday at the Leys Health Centre, helping a good few hundred people get their (mostly second) vaccinations. Alongside several other interesting volunteers (our conversation topics covered the Argentine dictatorship, whether Slovenia has a class system, and why some drivers just park really badly) , we marshalled traffic, kept queues moving, and managed a few chats with patients as they came and went.
While Mark has done numerous shifts here already, it was the first time vaccine volunteering for Vicky and Ruth, and it was great to see the whole process running so efficiently - lovely too to get a wave and a thank you as people departed post-jab!
