As part of the Goodgym bingo challenge, I did a little litterpick on my walk today. I grabbed a bag and a pair of disposable gloves and started off with the road I live on. Sadly, there was plenty of rubbish on the pavement and along the road and some of the "best" finds were a half head of iceberg lettuce still in the plastic, an exotic variety of cans and of course a good selection of cigarette packs and discarded face masks....(How hard is it to use the bins?!) My rubbish bag was already full by the time the road came to an end and I put it in the bin nearby and felt good for doing a little favour to our poor planet.
