Time for a career change?!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Redbridge.

Here's what Mr V of IG2 had to say about the mission:
Mrs P would like to thank the runners that came - they did a fabulous job on her garden!
Linda and I met up on Friday morning for Linda's first mission. Mr V needed a hand in his paved front garden, which he used to keep on top of, but now finds difficult. It was the sort of task that looked superficially quick and easy, but in reality a bit fiddly (although satisfying all the same).
It took us about an hour and a half to clear the weeds out of all the cracks, using a variety of useful tools provided by Mr V. Chatting as we worked, we were asked by some neighbours if we did lawns - flattered and although tempted to suggest a price, had to explain that we were volunteers and unfortunately didn't know of any other gardeners in the area!
Congratulations on your first mission Linda - hopefully I'll see you again at a group run either in Redbridge or Newham soon :)
