3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Mrs M called to say that she was thrilled with the work the runners did and she wanted us to pass on her thanks. Thanks for a great job!

On Saturday, three GoodGymmers - Alix, James, and I - ran to visit Mrs M and help her rearrange her bed, wardrobes, and other assorted furniture.

First running the delightfully undulating* Finsbury parkrun, we then set off for a 5k run from Finsbury to the mission covering two boroughs on the way (Haringey and Islington before arriving in Camden).

Having arrived, we then cracked on shifting and rearranging a bed, paintings, wardrobes and other assorted items. After a near-disaster knocking the light cover off (we fixed it!), we left the room looking suitably better and rearranged. Our inner room-designers satiated, Mrs M was pleased with our efforts!

Alix then went on to run a 15 mile marathon training run (serious!) whilst James and I sauntered through Kings Cross in search of coffee and pastries. Mission accomplished with plenty of weekend left!

*The first time, the hill is delightful. The second time...
