How wonderful was that!!!
Our first group meet up in over 3 months!
With community missions kicking back off officially next week who better to start off with than the lovely Eva at St Anthony's Church.
We had just one rule on arrival:-
G and 2 T's
Clearly I was referring to gloves, two meter distance and tools.... The tool you choose is yours for life! So choose wisely!
Even the rain couldnt dampen our spirits. Eager to get on with it, we divided the grounds up into areas so we all had sufficient space around us and cracked on.
Sut and Gail were on sweeping duty - br-br-broom..
Gauri and Meera were tasked with making the front entrance area look all weedy weedy good..
And Sara and I were a cutting hedge ahead with our ivy and 2foot weeds!
An hour in and just before the heavens really opened up we had managed to collect 10 bags of garden waste!
A quick chin wag and we were done!
We are back there again next Wednesday for more of the same.
