Run report by the magnificent James
"Group F (for FAST) sped off to Vauxhall food bank to drop our cargo off, but when we got there, we had no time to reminisce! Amongst our ranks was Judy, who was completing her 50th GoodGym good deed that day so we felt honored to be running with a bona-fide GoodGym Lambeth superstar.
With a quick 'bye Faith!" we doubled back on ourselves and went off to see Ameena at the Holland Park Estate, hi-fiving Group NQAFBSF (Not quite as fast but still fast) along the way.
When we got there Ameena wasted no time in splitting us up into groups of 2 or 3 and set us on weeding some of the communal and residents gardens. Some of us may have needed supervision when it came to identifying if a plant was a weed or not, it turns out the uglier the plant, the more likely it is to be a weed. WHO KNEW? Of all the tasks we do, Holland Estate is probably the best organised. With military precision, we finished the weeding leaving us just enough time to get back to papas park to wish Beth a happy birthday and enjoy some well deserved tray cake.
