Tonight was the perfect night for our group run! The weather was so good that we moved the meeting point to outside, for the first time this year! After a quick head count, our warm-up took place on the lawn! We begun with some stretches, then had a quick game involving high knees and sprints! It was then time to make our way over to the task. With the running group heading off first, the walkers were to take a shorted route to the task to try to arrive at the same time. The run was a shorted run tonight. Even though our task was taking place next door to our meeting location, we still manage to put in a small loop to give our weekly mile count a head start! Joy was there to meet us as we arrived at DYC. As usual there was a lot of different tasks to do. We had a team in the back garden area, trimming, strimming and weeding and a team around at the skate park weeding and tidying the area. After a while it was time to clear up and pack away the tools before heading all the way back to base!
Great work tonight Bexley! Have a good week and see you next time!
Happy Running!
