The Stakes were high
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside and Friends of Leagrave Park in Luton.

3 goodgymers met to support Friends of Leagrave Park for a litterpick and a little aftercare for some of the trees we planted last year. After inserting some new stake to replace broken or lost ones. Our team added a more robust outer barrier around these young trees to give them a better chance of survival. The team then joined the other volunteers on the litterpick which accumulated a haul of over 15 bags and inevitably a shopping trolley. All in all a great team effort that has made a visible difference to the park.
