Lindy, Kate, Rebecca and Sam met up with Simon for a Saturday session at Thorlands.
It was Kate's first time at Thorlands after hearing about the wonderful and on-going project we have with them.
There was one task that needed to be done, so we all focused on getting the task of moving leaf/woodchip mulch from the locked up second garden area on the estate to the Kitchen garden to be near the compost pile. We were doing very well using two wheelbarrows and shoveling in pairs, but then one of the wheelbarrows got a puncture. Thus, we had to rely on quick trips using the one wheelbarrow. Unfortunately, this meant we could only do half the task.
Still Simon appreciated the help and offered all of us a harvest to take home.
