Tea and a catch up
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Luton.
- Thursday, 11th of January 2024
It was really great to see Miss D today. She’s been keeping nice and warm indoors during this frosty spell of weather we’ve been having. We chatted about lots of things, nature programmes, her love of birds, memories from her own schools days and her teaching days.
She said it was nice to have me as a visitor for a change, instead of her niece and her very excitable dog who charges around the living room jumping all over the furniture. I assured her that I wouldn’t be running around her living room or jumping on her furniture and we both had a good laugh at that. Then we had a lovely cuppa and a cake, all together it was a really nice evening.
