"Take That" said Goodgym to the brambles
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Saturday, 8th of June 2019
On the day Gary, Jason and Mark were in town to rock the Principality Stadium, a mission was scheduled to help Ms J with her garden. Goodgym Cardiff & Vale had visited a few weeks prior - and Everything Changes but Mike , who was making the return visit. Joined by Nathan it was a new line-up - Could It Be Magic?
After a quick introduction, the duo set about strimming the long grass and tackling the brambles which blocked the view from Ms J's kitchen window.
While It Only Takes A Minute to strim grass, it became clear that the brambles had really taken hold in the garden, spreading under the lawn and climbing into the trees. Mike and Nathan were determined to cut them Back For Good, which lead to some rounds of Goodgym vs Bramble tug-of-war. Goodgym prevailed and two green bins of garden waste paid testament to the victory (only after Mike had pulled off his trademark garden waste compacting technique to cram in a little extra).
A good hour or so later, Ms J showed her delight with the transformation and bid farewell to Goodgym as they set off into the afternoon sun
