Sweet painted lady...(ies) and gents
15 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Hammersmith and Fulham.
- Tuesday, 20th of September 2016
Elton John would have approved, I'm sure, as 15 ladies and gents ran 3kms each way to Gibbs Green Community Hall. We applied a first coat of paint to the walls and left it looking shinier and brighter than before. It still needs some finishing work, but we definitely lightened the load for the team and hopefully inspired the local residents to help for the final push to the finish line.
On the run back we had some special circuits thrown in for the faster runners and we arrived back to base together for a cool down stretch.
Special thanks to Jason for back-marking both ways and to you all for your amazing efforts!
Next week we are off to White City. And keep an eye out for our weekly fitness e-mail which will have details of our up-coming social organised by new social secretary extraordinaire Aska!
Have a great week all! Anna
