This week's fitness challenge was more of a challenge for the mind than the body. And it will continue into today....unheard of in GoodGym history!
A Strava art themed challenge was concocted, seeing as the last time was so much fun....and some of us were trying to redeem ourselves from our first attempts at Strave writing.
This week, each person was tasked with going out to write another letter again like last time. However, depending on what the third letter in their first name was, they would need to pick from a consonant or vowel. This part of the challenge was a little like Countdown...
So if someones third letter of their first name was a vowel, they needed to go out and draw up a vowel on Strava, if their third letter was a consonant they could pick any consonant to draw out on Strava.
There were some great ones, some interesting ones and some amusing ones! It was great fun for sure! And with so many of us taking part 20 letter to choose from...so instead of allowing just one word, a two word combination will also be accepted.
The two words have to belong together though so: sand castle would be ok......cow horse would not....clear? As mud right?
John, who is unable to leave the house, then suggested that he would join in by taking the winning person's scrabble points total, doubling it (we didn't specify miles or km really..)....and cycling that on his turbo trainer in one go....that was before he realised that 20 people has signed up....yep he is a man of his word though so he will still give it a go!
Whilst this was all going on, we had Janet hit the 10 good deed mark and has now joined the Task Force...Whooop! Well done!!
Hannah is on 49 good deeds and needs one mission to get her black t-shirt and I believe Karen knocked out a 5K PB...show her some LOVE!!!
Right back to the Scrabble. I'll write out the letter here....wouldn't want you guys to misinterpret any of the images....not that anyone would of course!

Oh flippin eck!!!! This is gonna be a loooong ride
We got 'smouldering' =D
Manipulated š
Metabolise. Still trying to beat that 11 Neil!
Can I have 'superb flamingo' ?
I don't think this suggestion is within the rules but I will put it out there anyway as proof that I am trying haha: "Ben made fruitloops". This has taken up a surprising amount of my morning:D
fearsome gunboat
My best effort was:
Multipronged (11) score of 24 points
I gave the letters to one of my elderly clients this morning who's a BOSS at scrabble, cross words and chess etc, he's come back with:
Perambulating (13) score of 27 points
'to walk or travel through or round a place or area, especially for pleasure and in a leisurely way.'
Ok so I think Sueās could be accepted but Marianneās although amazing isnāt within the rules....fearsome gunboat is though. Everyone apart from Marianne in agreement? š
Fair enough haha!:)
This won't be within the rules either but "Team Good(didn't have letters for gym) Are Fun". Very little work or homeschooling achieved here š
Does it have to be English?!?! š
Other language I will also accept...weāre international....and that way we can learn something new too....but English words get higher points....
Gruesome panto....(this is English BTWš¤)!
Bloedneus piraat (a pirate that gives you a nosebleed...)?!?!?!
Freeloading
Pretty sure others have done way better than me but here are my offerings!
Treason, fearsome, glorious, tradesman, tremendous!

So tell your client he beat all of us! But amongst all of us you are the champion! How fitting that itās your score that youāre going to double and have a go at on the indoor bike!!! 48miles right??
yeah.... 48 miles it is. It hurts even more that I've done it to myself
Gonna do this Sunday morning if that's ok with everyone?
Im actually gonna blame it on Sue's 'Superb Flamingo'
