Spring is in the Air
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Luton.
- Friday, 8th of March 2024
The sun was shining when I arrived at Mr D’s house today and he was looking well as he opened the door. He was really pleased to see so many daffodils blooming in his garden. He is looking forward to warmer weather when we may be able to sit outside to chat.
He had been to his art group last weekend so was pleased to show me his drawings. He hasn’t yet made any friends there as most of the other participants are young students but he enjoys it nonetheless.
Coffee was made and we were soon sat in the arm chairs chatting about all sorts, but mainly comparing stories about music instruments we have learnt and played and different kinds of music. He also talked about the female composers being showcased on Radio 3 today for International Women’s Day.
Time always go passed so quickly and before I knew it I had been there for nearly 2 hours. I could have easily stayed longer, but work was calling and Mr D was ready for his lunch. Looking forward to catching up with him next week.
