Sparkly Windows and a Tidy Lawn
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Sunday, 11th of June 2023
Mr and Mrs F asked for some help with their lawn and to clean the windows of their neat little bungalow so they could enjoy looking at their garden. Georgeta and Sheila cycled to Windsor on a very hot day, deciding to take the scenic route along the Jubilee River . With one of their routes blocked by a flood across the path (no, we couldn't believe it either), they decided to go via Windsor town centre instead. And ended up getting caught up in the final yards of the Windsor Triathlon. We eventually reached our destination, and got some very specific instructions of what they would like us to do. Georgeta took on the lawn mowing whilst Sheila started cleaning the windows. Before long, Georgeta had a bag full of grass clippings and came to help Sheila with the windows. As a bonus we also managed to clean the soffits as well as the garden furniture. We hope Mr and Mrs F are pleased with the view from their windows

We got to the finish line before we even got started 😃
Why not finish a triathlon on the way to a GG mission!? Love it! You certainly deserve medals anyway... xx
It was such a warm day, we were tempted to jump on the river, but might have passed on the running bit!
