Carol helps to run a community centre and one of the things they do is to give away food and cook meals for people in need. As they have not been able to open during lockdown some of the food is going to go out of date. Stalwart of Good Gym Liverpool Pauline organised for us to go over and take the food, which is going to go off in the next few months and deliver it to one of my local councillors Steve Radford, who delivers food hampers to people in the Tuebrook and surrounding areas, who are especially vulnerable. So, the three of us went through everything and had about ten pallets of provisions, which were duly delivered to Steve. He was really pleased with the help and a massive thanks goes out to Carol for being so generous. All of this food will not now go to waste and it will put a smile on peoples faces to think that someone cares for them.
