3 Goodgymers returned to help LWS Night Shelter with another shift of sorting their donations received over the festive period. Today it was vegetables - peas, carrots, sweetcorn, beans - you name it, we sorted it.
Laura and Katherine were on dating duty labeling the tins with easily visible dates whilst Nigel was the muscles of the operation and helped to shift the full crates of tins around and dug out any more crates of veg from the back of the other storage units to ensure we had all the tins ready for sorting.
It may have taken slightly longer than planned, but we managed to sort all the vegetables and get them stacked and labeled in date order before we left.
Phew! I think we all deserve a sit down after a triple deed Saturday for GoodGym WLS!
