Solidarity not Charity at Oxford Mutual Aid
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Oxford Mutual Aid in Oxford.
- Wednesday, 26th of May 2021
- Led by Anwen Greenaway
Last week Oxford Mutual Aid supported 878 people experiencing food poverty with deliveries of food, toiletries and baby supplies.
Hundreds of volunteers over 7 days a week make this possible, including 3 busy GoodGym shifts. Wednesday afternoon is one of our regular shifts helping Oxford Mutual Aid. Today we packed parcels from the regular delivery list and also prepped 12 Emergency food parcels for people with nothing left in their food cupboards. Loading up the cars with crates for delivery and taking in donations also kept us busy.
Great work team!
