Soaked to my Beans

Sevan's shopping mission for Mr G today had another aquatic theme. Instead of sailing down the supermarket aisles, this time the water was outside in the streets.

Sevan was already pretty soggy when he arrived at Mr G's as the heavens had opened earlier in the day. On the up side, today's list was shorter than normal. Mr G asked for only 2 tins of beans as he thought the load would be too heavy to carry and a new item this week was a bag of frozen peas.

Speedy visits to both Waitrose and Sainsburys were made. Sevan managed to buy a giant pie by mistake instead of a small one and had the muscles to get 4 pack of beans back to Mr G's, which he was very pleased with.

With the rain still falling, Sevan squelched his way home to peel of his soaked clothes and warm up.
