Slowing Down to See the Sights
2 GoodGymers made their way 5.1km to help their local community in Croydon.

This Saturday 2 runners from Good Gym Croydon took the slow way to find the best slow route from Croydon to Selsdon. Meeting at East Croydon station whilst a slight drizzle filled the air, we set off to test out the route. Despite both being Croydon locals we found ourselves on footpaths we had not been to before and were pleasantly suprised at how far removed this felt from the busy urban streets we normally run. There were frequent stops to check the map, take photos and walk up the steeper hills! Taking a slight detour off the route to climb to the viewing area at the top of Croham Hurst Woods we took in sights of our local area from a new angle. Before long we had successfully navigated to Selsdon. Definitely a good route to recommend!
