Short & Sweet
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 25th of September 2021
Lucky old Mrs J had had a midweek M&S shop delivered, so V’s list this week was just like Mrs J - literally short and sweet!
As I hit Asda, I found myself going in an unusual route round, as I didn’t have to get the normal potatoes and prawn cocktail! Instead it was straight to the confectionary aisle, where I took the last 5 packets of her infamous galaxy smooth milk chocolate. Then custard tarts from the end, spaghetti hoops and French fancies to finish.
Knock knock, Mrs J was delighted to see I’d brought her treats, and in her usual generous fashion, she was insistent on giving me one of the multipacks back that I’d just given her! After a little bit of a fight, I agreed to take one single bar (which I’m actually currently eating as I write this), and was on my Merry way.
