Shoeper Troopers!

**This week, 5 GoodGymers ran to Clothing Coventry to support their mission of ensuring everyone in Coventry has access to warm, high quality clothing and shoes. **

It was a mild evening tonight as we met outside our usual venue. After a quick warm up and catch up with running news, we took the short route down to the warehouse. As we approached, it became very clear what our task would be tonight! We were confronted with a mountain of shoes that needed to be sorted. There was every size, style and colour of footwear that all needed sorting by size. We soon set about finding pairs of shoes and sorting hundreds of pairs into the correct crates. The real challenge was trying to find the matching pairs and reduce the size of the odd pile. Once we had sorted the shoes, they all needed taking back into the warehouse and stacking safely. In true GoodGym style we made an efficient human chain and got the crates back in place in no time. There was just enough time for a quick team photo and a gentle run back up through the city centre. Brilliant work tonight everyone. It was dark when we got back, so do remember your head torches and bright/reflective clothing next week.
