Shelf Life
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Oxford Mutual Aid in Oxford.

Saturday afternoon at Oxford Mutual Aid is usually dedicated to making the hall and kitchen spick and span and restocking the shelves. Today we had a slightly more complicated shift as we were charged with managing the distribution of gifts for Eid too. Cyclists, walkers and drivers popped in through the afternoon to collect bundles of sweet treats and toiletries for distribution to families around Oxford. We also did a good sort-out and tidy of the kitchen, stocked the hall shelves with tins, jars and bread (not quite such an overwhelming amount as some weeks!), emptied the rubbish and swept the floors.
Oxford Mutual Aid is a 7-day-a-week operation, supporting hundreds of households across Oxford who are struggling to put food on the table. OMA are feeling the squeeze on their finances right now but continue to do everything they can to help people in need. We're happy to support them.
