Shear weed-om
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 14th of July 2018
Pippa and I arrived promptly on time to help Mrs R sort out and attend to her garden. After a warm welcome and a topping up off cold water we set off with our tasks with our shears. The jobs contained removing any dead plants, dead branches, any overgrown foliage, dead-heading a rose bush, weeding and sweeping up the mess. Two bin bags full and a biscuit after we were done to the delight of our host Mrs R. Now she can enjoy her tidy garden without worrying about tripping over any the plants. This is what we're here for and just like that we were set on our way back home.
