Several Ends in Sight
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Hackney.

Today was Fun Day on Newington Common and the Stoke Newington Users Group (SNUG), invited GoodGym to help with set up in preparation for an afternoon of music, crafts, sport, food and general community fun. As it turned out, setting up was fun too!
We started with the gazebos, each with its own quirks and assembly requirements. By the time the last one went up, Gazebo Squad were pros, despite the shortage of tent bags to pin them down.
Next was the distribution of tables and chairs for the activities tables and sales stalls.
The badminton net was next and then filling the parasol stands with water to weigh them down - some proper GoodGym lifting required there!
Finally (for me at least), the bunting. This was perhaps the most challenging of all the tasks, first untangling the bunting as best we could, trying to identify the end (as it turned out, there were several ends!) and festooning the fence to herald the fun.
By the time I left, Newington Common was a wonderful, bright field of colour ready for the fun-filled programme of entertainment ahead.
