Rootin' tootin' dandelion shootin'
4 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Sunday, 7th of July 2019
It was another scorchio day for the anti-dandelion crew in Totterdown yesterday as we went back to Mr M's to try and rid them of their 'wannabe-parsnip' tap roots.
As Roz and Fi tackled the raised bed, Ady and Mel gave the garden section a good prod and turn with the spade and fork.
A few swaps of tools and roles between us, and everyone had the shared success of removing the pests and holding the roots aloft.
Fi took the role of Mr Guest, and de-weeded the path with the tried and tested upturned shovel technique.
We wrapped up with five bin bags of the ol' roots, and a happy daughter of Mr M.
