Return to Nature's Haven

Sheila helped out at Nature's Haven. My first task was to finish constructing the fan on which to train the cherry tree, which Roberta and I had started some weeks ago. I tied the bamboo canes to the wires, and then tied the branches to them, to encourage them to grow in a fan shape. Once happy with this, I joined the other volunteers who were planting up the borders with all the plants that we had brought back from the Hampton Court Flower Show, adding some colour to the borders. Everyone was in a buoyant mood after the Show, what a brilliant group to be part of
