Ready, Steady, Pack!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Oxford Mutual Aid in Oxford.
- Wednesday, 28th of October 2020
- Led by Anwen Greenaway
The eager beavers got to GoodGym an hour ahead of our usual time this week to prepare food parcels for delivery by the rest of our dream team.
Suitably masked up, the first task was to bring in a delivery of fruit and veg, then once that was put away it was on to our packing list. Under Rob's expert tutelage we got 11 parcels together, paying careful attention to allergies and food preferences. Each parcel should be enough to feed a single person for several days. We then moved on to replenishing the shelves and even packed a few family-size parcels before finishing for the evening.
