Leaf it out!
We were outside for a gardening task for this week's Wednesday visit to St Anthony’s Church and the Antz Kidz Activity Centre, and to our releaf the weather was kind to us while we worked! Though we still hedged our bets and brought our waterproofs just in case! You never know with the British weather, beleaf me!
This week we were also pleased to see OG Goodgym Slough member Ruth, who we have missed dearly while she has been away and busy with her beautiful baby.
During the community mission we raked leaves from the flower beds and hedges, swept the grounds and dislodged any unwanted greenery. In fact, we leaft no weed un-turned proving a little bit of elbow grease can beat any cutting hedge technology!
Rounding off the day, we took the two bags full of green waste we had collected to the church's compost pile before enjoying a treat or two laid on by our lovely task owners.
As always, it was a wheely good time!
