Maria and Sam braved the rain to meet Simon and Ruth at Thorlands Gardens.
We escaped the rain by coming into the Clubhouse for a cup of coffee and a chat about GoodGym's change come September. After the rain had stopped (30 minutes later), we got tools from the Walled Garden and concentrated our efforts this session on a garden bed outside the Clubhouse.
Previously, this bed had tulips, but the season for them is over and weeds had come into play. After weeding and turning over the bed, we took two wheelbarrows to do two trips, resulting in four wheelbarrow worth of mulch to cover this bed and prevent the weeds from growing for awhile.
All in all, great session with the limited time we had.
