Rain on me, rain, rain...
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hilsea Lido in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 31st of October 2020
- Led by Judy Knapp
Lucy & Duncan got drenched running to the Lido, Maura & Manuel were soaked when they arrived on their bikes and Louisa and I quickly resembled drowned rats after sweeping up leaves. Not the most fun way to mark my 200th good deed!
As well as our sweeping up leaves, Maura did a great job painting a metal gate, Duncan scraped paint in a storage room and there was a lot of carrying heavy iron grills by Lucy, Manuel and Duncan.
We finished early after there were no more indoor tasks.
To paraphrase Ariana Grande, we'd rather be dry...but at least we showed up!
