Pre-Christmas good deeds, an omnibus
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Oxford.

In the spirit of Christmas approaching, I've compacted any individual December tasks into a single boxset.
Advent calendars, pre-Christmas food and sweet goodies for the children were purchased for a young family living nearby over several shopping trips. The family were very thankful and even gave me a Christmas card with messages from the mother and the children, which was very kind.
There were a couple of Sunday volunteer shifts at OxUnboxed on Little Clarendon Street to help promote plastic-free shopping for the festive period coming up and we were also selling gift jars of food (the dark chocolate is exquisite) that were gift-wrapped.
With the festive holidays approaching and restrictions on travel tightening all the time, Oxford Hub's Phone Links is a lifeline for many of those isolated or shielding at present. I have been continuing to facilitate this as a pod coordinator but also contacting elderly residents who wanted a phone call as part of the service before referring them for more regular phone contacts. Fingers crossed they get reached in the non-too-distant future.
