It was a proper treat this morning to be able to see some other GoodGym members in real life!
As the Lido is such a big site and somewhere we usually volunteer a lot in the summer, we worked out that it was possible to have a small group lend a hand and still stay socially distanced.
The Lido is unlikely to open this season and there are only two volunteers who are looking after the whole site, they were very grateful to be have our help. A family of ducks have taken advantage of the lack of swimmers and taken over the pool.
Today's jobs were weeding, digging and clearing. We couldn't really have our usual group chats but in keeping with some GG traditions, Jo did find a pair of pants and Jen got to wrestle some plants out of the ground.
A successful morning in the sunshine, helping out. Well done and thanks to you all.
