GG York returned to Grange Lane Park to continue the excellent work done on the last Community Mission. Only this time IN THE DARK!!!!
As the night got colder, and the finds got weirder the whole thing began to feel less like a litter pick and more like the Blair Witch Project. Especially when at one point we thought we'd lost Tim. Only to realise he had ventured deeper into the woods in search of more rubbish to fill his bag.
Whilst one half of the group (possibly the more sensible ones) continued the litter pick along the edge of the woods and in the park, the other half decided to risk whatever beasts may be lurking in amongst the trees and set about clearing larger objects lurking deep in the depths of the woodland. Debs delighted in filling Ed's bag with the heaviest objects (as well as hitting him in the eye with a litter picker!) whilst Craig somehow showed enormous amounts of courage to get to those hard to reach places
This weeks bizarre finds included a broken halloween mask, childrens shoes and half a toilet! All in all a monumental effort in the dark to collect 10 full bags of rubbish!!!
