Picking the right spot
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Liverpool.

The dogs and I had noticed an increase in the amount of litter in one of our favourite walking spots...our local woods...and planned to clear what we could on our walk this evening.
Armed with a litter picker and a couple of bags, we started by clearing the streets on our route to the woods. That filled one bag.
At the entrance to the woods we found a lot of litter and broken polystyrene. That filled another bag.
Within the wood is a secluded spot popular with groups of youths. Here we found the usual cans, snack packs, broken bottles and plastic bags...surprisingly, one bag was already filled with rubbish, it just hadn't made it to a bin.
Four bags later, and it was time to actually let the dogs have a bit of a run around. They had done their bit, after all, and are really good at finding plastic bottles!
