PB Tastic!
14 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help the The Canal and River Trust in Birmingham.
- Tuesday, 4th of February 2020
- Led by Jonny Carter
On a rather cold night, the task was the canal litter pick. Rauul took up the camera duties tonight and Will the back marking job. We set off armed with our litter pickers. Once on the canal we split into three groups, each litter picking on a different part of towpath. We all took the bags too Aston Lock and headed to Millennium Point for the time trial.
On arrival it was decided instead of the usual mile time-trial we would attempted a half mile version. We were also slightly behind schedule, so of course this helped a little. Everyone worked hard on what seemed a sprint to many, John was first over the line going sub 3 minutes. Annie pushed hard scraping under 4.30, but of course everyone got a pb, hence the ‘arms in the air photo’!
Once that was all done we headed back up the hill to get back to the nice and warm 1000 Trades.
Next week we will be out doing good again, it would be great if you could join us sign up here.
