Pane Management!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Sunday, 17th of September 2023
Mrs P had requested some cleaning help from Goodgym, after unfortunately breaking her ankle on a recent holiday. Laura and Heetu were in the area following a charity run and happily obliged!
The main task Mrs P needed assistance with was cleaning of the internal windows, including the small panes of glass on her doors. After a quick cup of tea and chat with Mrs P (and admire of the gorgeous doll’s house in her living room!), the goodgymmers got to work. Whilst Heetu was wiping down the wooden sections of the doors, Laura used newspaper and vinegar solution (great tip from Heetu’s time cleaning rental cars!) to get started on the glass panels. Despite the pair struggling to see if their efforts had made much difference, Mrs P assured them she could see a big improvement!
The final job was to get the dining room bay window and glass around the front door sparkly clean too. With a little help from the step stool to reach the top sections, this was done in no time. Mrs P was very grateful for the help and seemed pleased with the result!
